The F-15 Eagle™ is an American heavy air superiority fighter, designed to operate in all weather conditions. It was designed as a rapid response to the development of Soviet aircraft of the MIG-25 type. It has been produced since the early 1970s. More than 1,200 aircraft have been built so far. The weapons include a multi-barrel M61A1/A2 Vulcan 20mm cannon and a rich arsenal of hovering air-to-air and air-to-surface guided missiles. The aircraft is also perfect for precise bombing of targets. It can carry conventional bombs, as well as laser, TV, GPS and cassette-guided weapons.
